We customize each of our workshops to meet your needs and abilities. Our primary goals are for you to have a safe (both physically and emotionally) and fun learning experience, while challenging yourself (with control) to "go for it" (the "it" being your personal challenge).
A typical one-day indoor and/or outdoor workshop at Kissler Ranch in the pines of Grass Valley, CA: In the morning, we'll do some trust and get-to-know-you activities, and a variety of individual iniatives to help foster team closeness and cohesiveness.
Next, you'll be presented with physically and mentally challenging problems (puzzles, low ropes elements) designed to strengthen your group's communication, ingenuity, and efficiency. We divide larger groups into smaller teams of 8-15, facilitating the team-building process and allowing us to accommodate almost any size group.
Lunch is bring-your-own or catered for $15-25 per person (depending on menu).
After lunch, you'll be allowed to climb the various high ropes elements (on belay—tied into an over-engineered safety system) with the support and encouragement of the rest of us. All aspects of climbing are the participant's choice.
